Smoothies are not just great as healthy drinks but also wonderful as a healthy breakfast for kids, mums and dads. Avocados are great to eat and taste great as fresh healthy drink compared to the packaged fruit juices.
I am beyond excited to bring this Tropical Avocado Smoothie to you. Talk about a powerful breakfast. And OH SO smooth and creamy, if feels like you are sipping on a milkshake. No joke! I really do love all smoothies, but I think I am going to have to call this one my current favorite.
If using fresh fruit, make sure to add a handful of ice to the other ingredients before blending.
Avocado Smoothie (makes 2 large smoothies)
1 cups pineapple chunks
1 medium avocado (just the inside, skin must be removed)
1 large banana, sliced
3/4 cup of plain Greek yogurt
1 cup orange juice
2 TB honey
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth (Healthy ature)
