Ramsey Tokunbo Nouah Jr born in Edo State, Nigeria to Israeli father and a Yoruba mother [Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria] on 16 July 1973. He studied Atara Primary School and Community Grammar School Lagos, and graduated from the University of Lagos with a degree in Mass Communication. He is multi lingual as he speaks Yoruba, Igbo and English very fluently.
He started his acting in the 90’s and has been labeled the ultimate “lover boy” by Nigerian movie lovers due to the multiple romantic roles he plays in movies. However, his acting career kicked off when he starred in the Nigerian TV soap opera Fortunes. Nouah has since then appeared in numerous films starring as the lead role. He played a double twin in the popular Tade Ogidan movie “Dangerous Twins”.
Asides from acting, Ramsey is also a Stunt Director. He won the 2010 Best Actor in a Leading Role (AMAA) for his performance in the Best Picture award winning film The Figurine. He has starred in numerous movies as he is still one of the most sought after actors in Nigeria.
He is happilly Married to Emelia Philips-Nouah and has two amazing children; a boy and a girl. Not much is known about his family as he keeps that aspect very private.
In his spare time, he enjoys Boxing, Golf, Soccer, Martial Arts, Swimming, Cycling, Basketball, and Tennis.
